Self-custody execution engine
A native client that runs your strategies around the clock and talks to exchanges directly, with your keys encrypted locally.
- Local keystore. API keys encrypted on disk with AES-256-GCM. Never uploaded.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Do you ever have access to my exchange account?
No. Your API keys are entered into the CTrL client on your own machine and stored there in an encrypted keystore. The client places orders directly with the exchange. Our servers only send the strategy and start or stop instructions, and only if you enable remote control.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Strategies are assembled from visual blocks: indicators, conditions, order actions and risk rules. The platform generates the executable logic for you.
Which exchanges are supported?
Centralized exchanges Binance, OKX, Bybit, Coinbase and Kraken, plus the decentralized exchanges Hyperliquid and dYdX v4.
Does my computer need to stay on?
Strategies run wherever the client runs. For around-the-clock execution, most users install the client on a low-cost VPS in daemon mode and manage it from the Web Lab.
Are backtest results a promise of future returns?
No. Simulated results are produced with the benefit of hindsight and do not reflect real trading conditions. Our analytics are designed to help you judge robustness and risk, not to predict profits. Control Trading Lab is a software provider, not an investment adviser.
